East Leake Village Hall
Registered Charity No. 217061

East Leake Village Hall opened in 1935, the funding to build this amenity was spearheaded by the East Leake Women's Institute and supported by other organisations within the village.  Newer additions were added in the late 1980s.
Today the hall is available for hire and benefits from a wide range of user groups providing a variety of activities for residents of East Leake, young and older.
The Village Hall is a charity (217061) and managed by a group of volunteer trustees and committee members.  The Parish Council hold the building and land as Custodian Trustees to ensure that the village always benefits from this asset.
As a charity as well as the income from our hire charges we need to ensure we have a range of fundraising activities throughout the year to maintain this lovely building for generations to come.   See our Facebook page - East Leake Village Hall for details of upcoming events, both fundraising and those that are free and of benefit to our local community.  Such events have included community defibrillator and CPR training with East Midlands Ambulance Service, Spam Prevention and Awareness with Age UK, Meet your Village events to keep residents up to date with clubs and organisations available in the village.  We are the venue for the Village Show held on the first Saturday of September each year and hold regular craft fairs, particularly our Christmas Fair which is the same day as the Christmas lights switch.
