East Leake Women’s Institute

East Leake WI has been active in our village for 90 years.   Our meetings generally take place on the second Tuesday of every month in the village hall at 7.30 pm. We have a varied programme of speakers  and organise daytime and evening activities between meetings, including craft groups, walks, lunches, table tennis and outings. We have around 33 members of all ages.

The subscription for 2019 is £42 and members pay £1 at the door for refreshments, raffle ticket and to help with the general running of the WI. Visitors are welcome at a cost of £4. Membership benefits include the WI magazine ‘WI Life’, full voting rights, the county newsletter and admission to all WI activities.

East Leake is part of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes and the Nottinghamshire Federation. For more information go to Nottinghamshire WI
