East Leake Women’s Institute

Welcome to East Leake WI -  a friendly and enthusiastic group which has  been active in our village for over 97 years combining traditional values with new ideas to reflect our ever changing world . Our meetings  take place on the second Tuesday of every month in the Village Hall at 7.30 pm and include either a speaker, a demonstration and/or a hands-on activity. There is an update on WI matters and time to chat and meet new friends over tea/ coffee and occasionally, a glass of wine! We have a varied programme of speakers and organise daytime and evening activities between meetings, including lunches, evening meals and out for coffee/cocktail sessions–  so it’s easy to get know everyone. We also have social events and outings like trips to the theatre and cinema and visits to local attractions. We support our local community through fundraising events and take part in Village activities. We have over 50 members of all ages and enjoy good company, make lasting friendships and have fun!
